How it works
1. Patient finds and books appointment
Patient searches for a provider via Google or one of many integrated partner app channels, e.g. major medical aids, life insurers, directories etc. Booking is made with your practice online.
2. Practice receives a booking request within their RecoMed interface
The practice administrator receives a booking request within their RecoMed interface or PMA and confirms the booking (usually this is instant). The practice calendar availability is always sync'd with your PMA (where applicable).
3. Patient receives automated confirmation and reminder emails
The patient then receives automated confirmation and reminder emails and SMSes to clarify appointment details and improve attendance.
4. Patient attends consultation
Patient arrives at your practice for a physical appointment or attends a virtual consultation with you.

Pricing
RecoMed bills healthcare providers per patient booking generated via recomed.co.za and all partner channels, including medical aid scheme websites, online directories, and popular consumer apps.
The per-booking fee varies by profession and custom rates apply for group practices. RecoMed only charges once successful bookings have been generated for the practice, ensuring that our service is profitable from day one.
